LEARNING APPROACHES

BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF FUTURE LEADERS

LEAD offers academic support services using highly individualized data-driven instructional approaches. LEAD focuses on student success through continuous teacher and instructor training. LEAD's unique instructional approach emphasizes explorative learning, guided intervention and gradual release to independent work. LEAD learning centres are designed to promote children's natural learning styles through the use of learning centres, manipulatives and engaging lessons.

PARENT - TEACHER - TUTOR COMMUNICATION

As part of a LEAD membership, we offer an exclusive parent-teacher-tutor communication system! LEAD connects with classroom teachers to better understand student's strengths and weaknesses, monitor progress and focus on areas of improvement.

QUALIFIED EDUCATORS

LEAD's learning specialists (tutors) participate in continuous training and development, feedback sessions, and lesson audits led education specialists. Tutors continue to learn new teaching methods, adapt lessons to suit individual student needs, and expand their knowledge.

SECOND LANGUAGE LEARNING

LEAD supports children who are learning English or French as a second language. Our program focuses on building opportunities to learn and apply new vocabulary, use gestures and actions to explain words, perfect pronunciation, and improving comprehension and writing through a leveled approach.

DIVERSE

Our special education team develops comprehensive and goal-based programs for students who require additional learning support. Programs are tailored to each child, incorporating recommendations and feedback from teachers, parents, and clinical professionals in order to meet each student's individual needs.
